July was an eventful and enjoyable month. We’ve made use of the warm summer weather to have outdoor concerts and ice cream socials, adjusting the calendar and adding back in our favorite activities as COVID-19 restrictions have slowly relaxed. Of course, we do this while still working to keep the residents safe. We continue to program events to keep our residents physically active, mentally stimulated, and socially engaged as we host parties, celebrations, exercise classes, and more. Events during July included the following:

  • July 2nd was our Independence Day Celebration with The Beasley Brothers in concert, a cookout lunch with a Hawaiian theme that included: decorations, Luanas Wahines Hula Troupe Dancers, and more
  • New-to-Us Food Tasting
  • Watermelon Wednesdays
  • Birthday Parties and Council Meetings
  • The Price is Right
  • Beth with Earfinity to do cleanings and check batteries for hearing aids
  • July 15th was a HUGE HIT with our first-ever Regency Backyard BBQ Bash with Black Tupelo in concert, a cookout, a petting zoo, bouncy houses, carnival games, a cotton candy truck, clowns, balloon animals, and more
  • Lunch Bunch to Longhorn and Supper Club to Olive Garden
  • Cooking Show with Fresh Tomato Sandwiches
  • Regency Buck Auction
  • Po-ke-no and Bingo
  • Wine and Cheese
