Fall Festival

October 6th at 11:00 am

Fall leaves and pumpkins stacked on hay bales will decorate the pavilion as we hang outside for our annual Fall Festival. Bouncy houses! A petting zoo! Vendors with games and prizes! An ice cream truck! A live concert! What a great opportunity to invite your family and friends to enjoy a fun public event! Let’s make some amazing memories.

Belinda and the Better Business Bureau

Come to this talk by Belinda and find out exactly how to spot a “fake” and what to do about it. We are in that time of year when Medicare fraud is at its highest! Fall Crafts with Karen

Have you met “dancing” Karen in our Activities Department? She is such a creative creature and this month she’s going to teach us all a new craft. What a fun and creative afternoon this will be. Be sure to be there and to catch some of Karen’s creative spirit.

Jim Phillips and “Ghost Stories from Antebellum”

Have you heard any of the spooky stories from Alabama during the Antebellum period? Have you seen any of the old books, newspaper clippings or currency from that time? Well, instead of making a trip to the library, where Jim is famous for his talks on the southeastern United States, why not join us in the sun room as he takes us back to the bygone era of the Antebellum South? What an interesting journey it will be!

Carving Pumpkins with Management

October 30th at 1:30 pm

Goblins. Cats. Faces and teeth. Exactly what will our management team carve into their Halloween pumpkins? Be sure to check out this hour of entertainment as you cheer on your favorite staff members while they work on their creations. All attendees get to vote and we’ll be giving away prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd best carving. What a fantastic holiday tradition here at Regency Towers!

Reverse Trick-or-Treating with Becca Bain & the Stepping Stone Homeschoolers

October 31st at 10:15 am

The Stepping Stone Homeschoolers will be our entertainment on Halloween morning with youngsters aged from toddlers to teenagers all dressed up in costumes. They’ll make us laugh and clap as they entertain us with Halloween jokes, skits and more. To finish off the hour, we’ll circle around the room as we “reverse trick-or-treat” and the kids pass out candy to residents. This event is always a BIG hit with the residents who love to see the little ones having so much fun!

Halloween Party

Boo! Are you scared? October 31st will be your opportunity to enjoy Halloween and the spooky costumes we will have in the building. Dress up and take part in the fun as we come together in the sunroom for a costume party for both the residents and the employees with Halloween music, trivia and goodies. Come and compete! Let’s have some great fun together!
