Christmas Cards for Soldiers

Do you have a soft spot in your heart for our active-duty soldiers serving out of town during the holidays? If so, this event is your chance to express yourself by writing Christmas cards to those who will miss out on precious time with their family. Join us in the Sun Room and let’s lift some spirits together!
Botanical Gardens’ Galaxy of Lights
December 11th at 4:45 p.m.
Huntsville Botanical Gardens sponsors a Galaxy of Lights Tour every Christmas and this is your opportunity to go and enjoy the Christmas lights. Join other residents on the bus as we cruise the beautiful and majestic scene painted by lights! Be sure to sign up at the front desk for this once-a-year event. You don’t want to miss it.
Christmas Open House
December 15th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Our Christmas Open House is the event of the year! This year’s adventure will start with our live nativity scene. As you cruise the hallways, you’ll find Paparazzi, Avon and other vendors. By the fireplace, Santa will be posing for pictures and handing out candy canes. Full Spectrum will be putting on a peppy Christmas concert in the Sun Room. We’ll have fancy hors d’oeuvres and JD Pollard singing top Christmas hits.
Christmas Party
December 22nd at 1:30 p.m.
Join us in the Sun Room for our Christmas Party! We’ll indulge in our final Christmas sing-a-long, play Christmas trivia and delight our taste buds with delicious treats and good eats.
New Year’s Celebration and Countdown
December 29th at 1:30 p.m.
Taylor and Jeff will be singing top hits and leading the New Year’s Countdown as we indulge in decadent goodies and tantalizing snacks. Don’t miss this big event as we blow our whistles to wish each other good luck in the upcoming year. Let’s make some great memories together!

Throughout December
This month, we’ll be enjoying over 19 special events, ranging from the Korean Mission Dance Academy to the Luanas Hawaiian Dancers, to a Santa Gift Exchange and Melissa playing her harp. Additionally, we’ll have “What’s Cooking with Chocolate Chip Pancakes” and our Christmas Open House featuring a live nativity scene and Santa.
